***

This is an interesting read. It gives guidelines, outlines and rituals to help the reader connect-and often come to terms-with their ancestors. The author also acknowledges that we have people who are joined at the heart, maybe a great aunt, teacher or neighbor who loved and nurtured you, and we may consider them ancestors and honor them as well. The title of this book and it’s cover are intriguing. Due to their combined impact, I believed this book would be more comprehensive. However it isn’t that advanced, but it is a good way for beginners and intermediates to learn more about their ancestors and guardians.
